IMG_31369. Marian Fathers Monastery (Current Building 1955) Jonas Kova-Kovalskis. The fathers occupied the grounds from 1913 until 2003.

IMG_313710. Draugas (Friend) Lithuanian World-Wide Daily Newspaper. Probably built in 1955 as part of the Marian Fathers Monastery.  Published since 1909 ! Largest Lithuanian Newspaper in the world.  Now published 3 times weekly.

IMG_314217. Mariano Azuela (1872-1952) Elementary School. 2010. Azuela published 22 novels in his lifetime.

IMG_314419. Tootsie Roll Industries. Invented in 1896 by Leo Hirschfield and named for his daughter, who he called… Tootsie ! below, a couple a tootsies !

IMG_314520. Ford City Mall. 1965. Built on the site of Ford’s 1942 aircraft engine factory, closed in 1945, reused by Tucker Automobiles, Dodge and finally Ford again before it’s current use as a Mall.
