The 1st time we ran Hyde Park we covered 8.1 miles on 4/24/2010. The more prescient of you reading the spreadsheet will note that there are several attractions included in this first run that are not actually in Hyde Park. During our second runs here in January and February of 2021 those ‘extra’ attractions have been omitted. Originally this was done because I wanted to make the runs interesting to our group and so the boundaries of community areas weren’t that fixed in my mind – if, for example, I wanted to put President Obama’s house in to the run, it was included. In 2010, we did eat at one of President Obama’s favorite Hyde Park Breakfast spots – Valois. Thumbs up for me, not so much Jean.
